Kluster: Ambient Performance @Freeze Festival

This week I participated at the workshop “Kluster” which was part of the Media Art Festival in Leeuwarden. The workshop was given by Samuel van Dijk en Michel Pitstra in the Academie voor Popcultuur.

The workshop was all about performance possibilities with electronic music. Guitar Bow Piece

This music piece is still in progress. I am trying to create an unreal dreamy / nature like music experience. For this piece, I have been experimenting with sampling string sounds by playing on my guitar with a violin bow. Besides, I am also learning and exploring Ableton Live. I posted this piece on blend.io, a platform so that I can share my complete set of Ableton Live project files.

But when quickly trying to find a suitable track, I was slightly annoyed that the YouTube Music Library doesn’t allow you to scrub through the track. This forces me to listen to the whole intro. I wrote a small script that batch downloads all … Continue reading Batch Download Tracks from YouTube Music Library
