A critical view on our obsession with authenticity

For a while I am having this strong urge to be who I really am, to be authentic, to be genuine, and I want others to be like that as well. It has become an important value for me, even to the extent that I launched the website genuinehearts.net for it. But today I finished the eye-opening book “Everyone is an Artist” which shows that there is also a darker side to our modern obsession with authenticity.
