Test: Arkanoid Video Mixer

Prototype implementation of a system where external hardware *2x Screens and Stroboscope) are integrated as object in a spatial Arkanoid type game environment.

What happens:
-A projected bouncing cube triggers the display of a random video upon collision.
-The strobe is triggered by in in-game collisions (Like Arkanoid Brick/Ball)
-User interaktion through mouse control of the position of the lower cube (Arkanoid Paddle).

Game environment using 2D physics is created in Unity 3D, outputting image render to Syphon via the “Funnel” plugin.
Syphon channel and OSC messages picked up by a program made in MAXMSP, which controls the selection, playback, output-channel and placement of the videos (QT, HAP).

As well as sends DMX messages to the strobescobe through an ENTEC DMXUSB PRO.
